I dont want this to feel like I'm insulting your skills or anything, but I dislike that our choices aren't actually taken into consideration. For example, I didn't want to drink from Daisy, but no matter what I chose, I had to. I didn't want to get a bj from Hazel, but I didn't have a choice. I didn't want to peak on Lily, but again, no matter what I chose, I still did. And the only romance options that you've shown so far are female, there are only two males shown in the game so far, and those are the barkeep, and a scammer.

Although I can make it so NSFW content can be declined, with such a linear story I would get boxed in and have to consider way too many variables (did they get a BJ from Hazel or not, did they do this or not). I understand your frustration, but the game is a linear story with optional pathways that give you some differences with ultimately the same outcome. I may include a button to skip NSFW scenes (SFW mode) so you don’t have to see the ones you don’t want, although the character says it happens.
Regarding the male romance options, there are thousands of gay Furry VNs on Itch, which is why my main focus (as well as someone who is not gay) was female romances. However, content is planned for gay romances with some characters (Femboy and Trans), although not a ton.
Again, sorry to hear your frustrations, and I hope something like a SFW mode might encourage you to play more in the future :)
18+ content aside, you've created a game with a great story and beautifully crafted art, from the color scheme to the characters' personalities. The game deserves a GOTY. Also, be proud of yourself; I created an account just to congratulate you on this magnificent project.
Putting the adult content aside for a minute, the game actually welcomes you with such a nice melody and a beautiful message from the creator. Absolutely loved it! I finished it in one sitting, and the story flowed quite naturally and wasn't boring to read.
The animal facts seem to add up really well and there seems to be no shortage of diversity. There doesn't seem to be any plot holes either!
All in all, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for future updates, came for the Anthropes but stayed for the story! Amazing job invisible Cactus!
I wanted a very cozy, almost slice-of-life vibe to the entire game (as you can already probably tell, the problems are very mundane and feel realistic). There are too many porn VNs that try to be an action RPG with deep lore, which can be overwhelming for someone just wanting to relax. I'm glad you thought my game was a breath of fresh air in this regard :)

I honestly wasn't sure I'd comment on the game, but I felt the need to. I can say in advance that my English level is quite basic, so I apologize for any typos in this review, as I had to use a translator for some specific words. Starting with the most important thing about the game, I found the story quite entertaining. To be honest, I was expecting another soulless game, one that was hastily written just to get some views or create another ordinary game. But this one has something else going for it. The characters are well-written and the story is interesting, considering I wasn't expecting to find another ordinary game of this style. So, on that note, it's very good. While there isn't much depth in the dialogue, it serves its purpose, and, as I mentioned before, the story is well-written. It's a very nice touch that it's translated. While not all parts are, the ones that are are well translated, as I've tested it in both languages (Spanish and English) to see the differences.
I haven't found any errors, which is very good because most of these types of games are broken and just another one of the crowd, while this one strives to be different. It's also clear that whoever is making it enjoys it. While the quality isn't the best, it stands out compared to other games on this same platform. Therefore, consider this game a very good option if you want to enjoy something calmer and more leisurely, but without losing quality.
While the story is somewhat short so far, in my opinion, I prefer it to be that way, rather than lose quality by trying to be like the rest. This one doesn't try, and it turned out very well.
A message for the creator is to prioritize quality over quantity, as that's what makes this game stand out from the multitude of other games on this platform.
I'll wait for new updates to continue commenting more on this game, as it has a lot of potential, and I'd like to see how it progresses.

Love this. Although I usually hate AI(slop), you can tell the dev actually enjoyed writing the story and didn't just want to throw something together for clicks, and also put effort into some of the scenes/combination of scene and art itself. The story, the worldbuilding, species-building, and the way that the story can so easily be expanded on make me want even more updates! What I love most is the characters, it gives a sort of homey-feely vibe, while still portraying a fresh experience for the mc, which I like since most games that go somewhere new have the mc as a complete idiot 😂 Anyway, great work on the game Cactus! Look forward to future updates, since this is one of the few VNs I actually read through with consistent enjoyment 🙂
A lot of people dislike the use of AI, but not everyone is an artist or has the means to afford an artist. I still want to tell the story I want to tell, and AI has provided a means for this. With proper transparency about it + not just using shitty images but actually spending hours fixing mistakes, I think I wouldn't call my game 'slop' (but to each his own).

Haven't seen all the content, but it seems like a really chill VN so far.
I've not seen anything major typo-wise, though there was a few oddities.
Personally, I think that third wall narrator/tutorial break was in a horrid spot. The way I see it, we've just got immersed in the player character and suddenly we're being told what we've already read (if we downloaded the game from Itch) and are then told a massive amount of information about the navigation system, which doesn't even begin to branch out until I assume much later in the game? The most relevant information is that there's no "bad" choices, since you have several with cow lady, but really it just feels like bad placement to me. To me it feels it should be right at the begining before Marcus's introduction, or if kept at it's current place then at least make it a "Would you like a summery/tutorial?" pop-up.
When Marcus says "Chatter coming from the city" just before he meet cow lady, 'city' should probably be 'center of town' or simply just 'town'.
"I was just driving to claim a house" feels kinda odd with earlier text talking about public transit, and later Marcus further doubles down on taking transit to get to Oakridge.
The rabbit girl sprites during the river scene feel like they need to be scaled down a bit. She looks like a giant with the perspective of the background.
I see the topic of Futa/Femboy characters got brought up by someone, so I'll give a quick opinion. Personally, I do not care at all for futa, but if you do decide to add it my advice would be:
1. Make the character have player-picked genitalia, so no one gets left out of that character
2. Make them a species that feels more natural being futa (Spotted Hyena is the easiest pick, but Lizard/Snake would fit as well.)
Femboy is a lot less of a problem narrative and gameplay-wise than futa I feel. Like, it feels more natural to just have a simple "thanks, but I do not swing that way" option compared with having to explain why a character is a futa.

Regarding typos/continuity errors, I actually went back and fixed every single one (along with many other typos). When you’re a solo dev writing thousands of lines of code + dialogue, it’s easy to skim over mistakes but thank you so much for catching some 🙏
Regarding the pop up, I put it before the branching pathways because I wanted to let people know that “Hey, although you have three options of what to do next, you will be able to come back and do all of them” rather than having the player worried they will miss out. However, I do agree it may have been a tad repetitive of the original tutorial message, and I will work on making it sound clearer.
Regarding Futa and Femboys, this will likely be optional side content. I will include a Femboy character where you can choose (like you said) to just simply decline the sexual aspects. However, Futa will be a side quest that is entirely optional most likely.

When I was a kid visiting family in Arizona, I ran into a small cactus and didn't notice until I saw my leg bleeding later at home. I kept saying 'I didn't see the cactus!' so my parents started joking I got hit by an invisible cactus. I loved playing as the Cactus in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (miss that game), so I changed my username to Invisible Cactus and it stuck ever since.
It might of been a teleporting Cactus actually. Certain types of cholla cactus can jump on to you from static electricity attracting it. Sick user Name though, as a Arizonan I can vouch for the thought invisible cactus being terrifying. Keep up the good work, looking forward to see what's next.

Hey, this game will likely remain free forever, but Patreon supporters will get access to new content much earlier + can give input on how to develop the game (characters, fetishes, etc.).
Maybe once the whole main story is done, you can keep interacting with different characters, like more dates, saucy stuff or just doing whatever, maybe an adventuring minigame with the fox (i forgot her name), or daily living stuff, an optional "survival" mode, in which i mean a hunger bar, cleanliness, etc. to keep people engaged. i mean fr tho, thats what good game-makers aim to do, increase engagement.
For sure! At the moment, I would like to make a more linear game with minor branching paths (like what was seen in the current version) since I want to it to feel like a story as well as a game. However, I will try and incorporate more 'minigame' stuff in the future once the main story has developed enough.
Good game but if on last conversation we had choices to lend the story to harem(I used harem word because we literally said we wanted to see other fruits too to lilly) or monogamy it would be much better.

Currently I plan on having a variety of characters the player can have sex with (as we have already seen), but in terms of the more cute, romantic, dating sort of stuff it will be focused on your relationship with Lily.
I was really happy when I saw it was version 1.1.0, I thought it was a finished game, but it's an early version. Which is not something bad at all, just confusing.
Anyway, the game is great. The art is lovely, and the sounds effects are appreciated. Sadly, there are not animated scenes. The writing is good, pretty consistent dialogs from the characters, although a bit repetitive sometimes.
Definitively a game with potential to keep track of.

Thank you for the feedback regarding repetitive dialogue, this is something I will 100% be trying to minimize in the future. As a writer, I tend to ramble/keep adding details, which is something I am actively working on (and hopefully wont be an issue with the upcoming content).
Depends on what you consider by harem. If you mean fucking around with multiple girls at once (not being tied down), then yes. And there will eventually be some threesome content, too.

Maybe once the whole main story is done, you can keep interacting with different characters, like more dates, saucy stuff or just doing whatever, maybe an adventuring minigame with the fox (i forgot her name), or daily living stuff, an optional "survival" mode, in which i mean a hunger bar, cleanliness, etc. to keep people engaged. i mean fr tho, thats what good game-makers aim to do, increase engagement.
For sure! At the moment, I would like to make a more linear game with minor branching paths (like what was seen in the current version) since I want to it to feel like a story as well as a game. However, I will try and incorporate more 'minigame' stuff in the future once the main story has developed enough.

1. Will there be any new characters in the next update ? For example, a wolf or cat.
2. Will there be any new scenes with existing female entros added?

Good game but if on last conversation we had choices to lend the story to harem(I used harem word because we literally said we wanted to see other fruits too to lilly) or monogamy it would be much better.

I was really happy when I saw it was version 1.1.0, I thought it was a finished game, but it's an early version. Which is not something bad at all, just confusing.
Anyway, the game is great. The art is lovely, and the sounds effects are appreciated. Sadly, there are not animated scenes. The writing is good, pretty consistent dialogs from the characters, although a bit repetitive sometimes.
Definitively a game with potential to keep track of.

Thank you for the feedback regarding repetitive dialogue, this is something I will 100% be trying to minimize in the future. As a writer, I tend to ramble/keep adding details, which is something I am actively working on (and hopefully wont be an issue with the upcoming content).
